Privacy Policy
Short version: we do not ask for personal data, we do not run ads, and your audio files never leave this device. Cutting runs in your browser.
Tool data
Audio you select is read only in your browser (File API and Web Audio memory). It is not uploaded to our servers. Trim settings stay in page memory for the session and are not sent to us. You can prove no media upload by watching DevTools → Network while cutting. WAV and MP3 are encoded in this tab. The MP3 encoder script is part of this site; that request does not contain your audio.
LocalAudioCut is not a cloud editor and does not provide “upload a YouTube link” or remote fetch of media.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not collect personal data. It records aggregate metrics such as page views and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard request logs (e.g. IP address) for security and delivery. Those logs do not include your audio payloads.
