Terms of Use
LocalAudioCut is provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. Results are for informational purposes; verify important results independently.
You may use the site for personal or commercial purposes with audio you own or are licensed to use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service.
Copyright and anti-piracy
LocalAudioCut is not a YouTube ripper, stream grabber, or download-from-URL tool. It only works with files you already have on your device. You must not use it to infringe copyright, circumvent DRM, or distribute pirated music or other protected works.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to cut, download, and use any audio you process. We do not host your files and cannot restore them.
Limits
Browser memory and CPU limit file size and length. Audio is decoded to PCM in the tab before the cut, so very large files may fail or freeze the page. Files over 250 MB are refused. Output is 16-bit PCM WAV. An MP3 download (128 kbps, via lamejs) is added when that encode succeeds; if it does not, the WAV file is still produced. M4A/AAC input is best-effort: Chrome and Safari usually decode it, and Firefox often cannot. We do not write proprietary ringtone containers.
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. Contact: contact@localaudiocut.pages.dev.
